Mission Statement
Platinum One’s embryo stage (August 1999)
was in residential, private, institutional, and government procurements.
As of January 1, 2003 an aggressive effort is being made to
infiltrate more government agencies with projects ranging from
$100,000.00 to $6,000,000.00.
Although our primary North American Industry Classification
Code is 235610 (Roofing, Siding, and Sheet Metal Contractors),
we have completed several large construction projects, such
as structural repairs, carpentry, window restoration, electrical,
and mechanical. Our core of expertise lies in general
contracting, roofing,
and sheet metal. In todays market analysis we have found less
competition and more profitability in general contracting and
roofing.
In an effort to capitalize on other government programs, we
have relocated our central office operation to a HUBZone
area of Landover, Maryland; our certification was approved March
15, 2002. We are also certified in the U. S. Small Business
Administration (SBA) 8(a)
Business Development Program and the Small Disadvantaged Business
(SDB) with the Federal Government The strategic marketing of
the 8(a) program offers Platinum One Contracting a stepping-stone
to advanced future opportunities in the open market competition.
As our owners derived from the field with hands on experience,
we are able to increase our work force in a timely fashion for
increased productivity and multiple project
completion. The success of a corporation lies within the knowledge
and expertise of its owners. Both owners
are knowledgeable in job cost review, estimating and purchasing
products. An independent certified public accountant monitors
our financial activity on a weekly and monthly schedule. Year-end
audits are also compiled by our independent certified public
accountant. The President of Platinum One, Anthony
Wright, monitors day-to-day cash flow.
